🎨 Cerakote Process Breakdown
This wasn’t a “spray and go” job. The "Anarchy" design required layered creativity, precision masking, and bold color theory. Here’s how it came together, step-by-step in our in-house Cerakote booth:
1️⃣ Prep
- Full disassembly of the Tristar G2 20ga
- Degreased, blasted, and oven-baked to fully gasout the metal
- All surfaces cleaned for adhesion and durability
- We started with a custom neon green foundation, blended slightly to support the wild style to come.
- Graffiti-Layer Chaos - We applied chaotic, urban-style masking layers by hand—designing stencils to mimic spray-paint tags, fragmented lines, and street-style energy. We layered vibrant hot pink, deep purple, and ghosted white across the receiver and forend in a calculated mess of rebellion.
- Shadowing and Fade - Next came the depth. We dusted Graphite Black and Armor Black over the top edges to age the look and give contrast to the neon hues underneath. The effect? Depth and motion—like a chaotic mural mid-paint.
- Clear Coat + GunCandy - a final quality check, we locked it all in with a high-temp Cerakote Armor Clear with GunCandy, then oven-cured it for long-term protection and hard use.
